Description:Wasn't sure what this was, I though rock bass, the guide didn't know (dummy). Turns out this is an Ozark Bass, a separate species from the rock bass. This was most likely a world record as the current record is only 1lbs 1oz....returned it back to the water.

Description:Caught in a small farm pond on a 2" chartruese gulp bait. Middle of the day when it was very hot. Weighed almost 3 lbs.....
