Went to LP last weekend great time to fish we caught a ton of smallies a lot of walleye and Crappie a few stripers 1 Channel 1 blue gill Kids had a great experince Good times

Nice Haul! Did you hear about the guy who's party caught FOUR of cabelas tagged fish? I guess they're doing a nationwide competition to catch these things and the prize is $2M! Maybe i need to go down there this weekend instead of pelican....it would be an investment in my future!

No i didnt hear that they caught 4 of those tagged fish good job for them I was registured in case i caught one wonder what the prizes were for those fish?

yeah those lucky buggers. Lots of people calling them all sorts of nasty names and then congratulating them on Wayneswords. How would it be to find THE school of stripers and pull four tagged fish out of it?

Actually according to their post they only got 3 with tags, but that's still pretty lucky. The interesting part will be to find out if they had actually registered with Cabela's for the contest. If I'm not mistaken I think you have to register online to participate.

Forgot to add they also tagged and released some smallmouth in East canyon as well. So get registered before you head up there.

Nice report and pictures! Looks like you had a great time at Powell, catching so many different species.

I think we are so lucky in Utah to have a fishery like Powell available to us.
