Fishing

  I just did my cleaning on duckies and rainbow and will shortly be cooking a rainbow fillet along with 4 duck breasts (all for just me). I just had to vent on how blessed/lucky I feel to do this at my advanced age.
My wife took off for a prior engagement which allows me to cook for myself. What better then duck breasts and rainbow (she won't go near duck). Yeah, I know, I cook my duck breasts differently than 99% of others, but, -----------, maybe you guys will learn some day??? I pan fry em to rare. Salt and pepper along with a salsa sauce of choice over the duck along with the panko covered trout and a vegetable mix side dish ( about all of em that's in the ice box).
Sorry for the divergence of posting but this is actually the result of my last combo. trip on the Web.
Guess I have to go out for some more mallards.

Good that you can get out and enjoy hunting and fishing. There are lots of people that are way younger and can't for various reasons. We are all blessed to be able to live and play where we do!

I think it is great you get out and enjoy time with your best mate the Sparkinator, spend some quality time in the outdoors and live life! I love reading your reports and hope I am as active as you are in my "later years".

p.s Rare duck breast with bulk pepper is awesome!!! (Tip I like a little unsweetened natural 100% orange juice thrown in to the pan when searing mine)
