     Grappling at the Provo toilet flush
Anyone know how to do this right? I can't figure it out.

I want to head back to the Provo outlet and try to successfully hook walleyes with my hook. It's an old school hook 13" in diameter, maybe that's the problem with it. Do I need to buy one of these jointed things or something?

Wouldn't it be a thrill to stick one of these in the tail and have it swim another barb through the tail of another large carp? What a back breaker dragging that load in eh?

Yesterday you talked about catching walleye in a closed section now you are talking about snagging carp or walleyeUnsure, not sure which but this is enough to get you a timeout if you are taking about snagging walleye. Snagging walleye is illegal as well, I'm not sure what you are trying to do here but be very careful, you are walking a thin lineUnimpressed.

It has been brought to my attention that generic descriptives should not be used as some members are hypersensitive and live at the ready to jump on anyone who is not living in their narrowly approved guidelines.

Ah, I didn't see your edit. Thanks for taking the respectful aproach the first time and simply saying so.

Thanks for letting me know though. It's a good thing I didn't run down there. There's always a cop in there.

Why is snagging walleye illegal? I've never seen anything about that.

I have no idea what your question is but why in the world would you want to fish with a 13" hook unless you are trying to snag a fish?

His old school hook with the thirteen inch diameter sounds like a net to me. I honestly think stumped is bored so a trolling he will go.

Snagging any fish is illegal. read the guide books you can download them on a phone you can download them on your computer. You should probably educate yourself before you get your self into some big trouble.

Thanks man. I guess I got caught up in the specific waters stuff and figured this is fine since bow hunting is.

I'm not a lawyer and they put so many laws on the books these days it's hard to keep everything straight. Back when I was fishing with grandpa all you had to do was go catch em. I agree they need to have laws now but it seems like you miss one little sentence and everyone is ready to lynch you. What has happened to society? I guess this is what globalization has done to local societies and respect within the community. Everyone's a punk A kid with a spunky mouth.

I suppose you could make it into a net pretty easy but don't you need a commercial licence to fish nets that way?

please just do not tell te ranger that you are a part of bft we are all fishermen and women that live and follow the rules pease read the hand book and then call the dwr help line if you dont understand the rules!!!!

snaging is NOT LEGAL IN UTAH for any game or non game fish

I know you're not a lawyer, but you write in complete sentences, with decent punctuation, and use the appropriate words, which is much better than a great many fishermen on this site (who consistently use "was" instead of "were", as in, "there was already 5 boats on the water...".

So, I'm taking a wild guess that if you read the guidebook, you'll understand it.

Just make yourself a spear for the carp.
