Have any of you guys seen the new Big River Bait hooks by Gamakatsu ? i just picked up a couple packs of 2/0 at camp cabin and home after an employee asked me if i had seen them yet. so i got home and started tying up some eggloops with them and..................................... GOOD LORD ARE THEY SHARP!!!!!! even the slightest touch to the tip pierces the skin a lot deeper than you would imagine. so far everything about these hooks look perfect the shape looks perfect for holding fish with a pinched down barb and the off set point looks like it will all but guarantee a hook up if a fish does decide to mouth it. i can not wait to try them in action. i will keep you guys posted on how they work for me. no i just need the water to drop and the fish to get here.

We call em sickle hooks. Have been using them for 2 years their the BOMB!

Matzuo has been making this style of hook for a while now. Pretty solid hooks for sure!
