Thank you Alaska advice
I wanted to thank all of you for your advice and assistance with my Ketchikan trip. I had an amazing time. I brought home 40lbs of salmon and unfortunately only 5 lbs of halibut. I sure learned a lot while I was there though and seen some amazing sights. If anyone is going soon I could give you some extremely good pointers. I have never seen rivers that full of fish in my life. I didnít know places like that still exist. Iíll try and post some pics. Oh one other bit of interesting info, while I was there they tied one of the wettest rainfall days on record at almost 5 inches of rain in one day. It was like standing in a waterfall.

Great catch! Looks fun! The greatest problem would be leaving so soon!

I want to fish and travel Alaska, but not as a tourist. I'd like to visit / live there perhaps a year or more by having my own sailboat and fish to eat fish.

There are 47,300 miles of estimated tidal shoreline, including islands, inlets sounds and bays, so it would take some time to have fun with that.

I'm wondering if regulations and limits allow me to catch fish to eat year round? Would it be a red tape nightmare?

Let's go fishing! I prefer to fish with others. I'm well equipped with plenty to share and have a vehicle with amazing off road capabilities to get us to even hard to reach fishing destinations. Let's team up! Private Message me to suggest I come to where you're fishing or plan a trip with me!

Who here is a surf fisherman? That's my next big vacation. I've already purchased top equipment for surf fishing. I'm looking to hire a guide or go with someone experienced.

Date proposal to single young BFT fisherladies with courage enough to put a worm on a hook: Comedy Club with Dinner Tonight! (Friday, September 13). I can pick you up or meet you there.
