wiperhunter2 made me go to DC after browns
He had a post.
Can browns be caught in lakes?
so went to Deer Creek today. put the boat in the water when it was still dark and a big bright moon.
stopped fishing at noon, no boats by me I fished the west side
I got a lot of fish most were rainbows.
I know where the big rainbows are at and also where the little ones are at
also think I know where the browns are at they are hard for me to catch
i went through 3 lures till I found what they wanted, and moving the downrigger up and down. best for browns was down 21 feet and the lure dives about 10 feet.
I think all the browns came up to hit the lure
rainbows down-rigger down 15 feet. the lure I was using does not dive
they love worms.
what I used I made all glow.
some Pictures and what I was using.
I took 3 20" rainbows home. all browns I put back.
some snap shots you can see all the fish I was in.
I checked the water temp down to 80 feet it was the same down 80 feet as it was on top.
