Snowmobile studs vs slush
Anyone have experience with how much help studs on a snowmobile track actually give when crossing through slush on the ice? I've had several ventures out now that I was able to keep my speed up and power through slush and didn't get stuck but my track was spinning on the ice and I thought I was hosed Shocked. Thinking about studding the tracks but not sure if the help is substantial or just marginal?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your track is touching the ice the studs make a huge difference, just like studs in a car tire.
They also make a huge difference is starting/stopping on glare ice.
They tear up coyotes though...
