   How about adding a question something in the order of would like to but can not afford because of fixed income or some such. But there are several places I would like to go to if I could stay in a campgrounds and stay in a tent and use my own little boat. Reelfoot and Weiss come to mind first off. Course there is a place in La. that is on TV for spec. trout.

gotta place by my house here in mich with camping/with/electric and bath about 1500 spec planted and 2500 rainbows planted some in excess of 20 inches

        I have a tent, coleman stove, propane lantern, truck with cap (yes it is a 4x4), cot, sleeping bag, etc. Where is this campgrounds that sounds like a small slice of heaven here on earth. Dave hope you have fried trout and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Do not forget your griddle cakes. Enjoy yourself son.

If I catch me a trout it wont be 20 minutes for it is on the grill a cookin.

It is called Proud Lake recreation
on the map it is half way between wixom and milford. oakland county michigan. they have electric and bath in the camp grounds. I have all the fire wood youll need.

I had for got to mention that they have a canoe rental there as well But if ya come out this way I will lend ya one of mine, just dont try jumping the dam at camp dearborn its a 50 foot drop.

I think that makes us related also. Someware I was told that Crocket and Boone are related. I have my history back to Danial and Eva Boone! Yes that is the one that they lied about on TV. He was a big man and he was an explorer, But he was not an explorer by choice. I have seen the diarys of Eva. He was an explorer because he was run out of every town that he went to because he was a drunk. Boonesburro was founded by him. He did it because he figured he could not get kicked out of his own town. The story of the bear is true.
