A Trophy for:

First and Second place FreshWater- Most combined pionts on total Freshwater fish caught per angler up to a maximum of 16 species.

First and Second place Salt Water- Most combined pionts on total Saltwater water fish caught per angler up to a maximum of 16 species.

Biggest Fish Caught (measured by length, Can be fresh or saltwater)To enter reply to this post.

Submit this information with your entries

• Fresh or Salt Water
• Name of the species
• Length (weight optional)
• Date caught
• City and state it was caught in
• Optional: Link to Wall of Fame Extra Piont photo (see below for details)

In the un edited picture you need

• to be wearing a Bigfishtackle shirt, hat, jacket or have a BigFishTackle.Com logo of some kind (print outs o.k.) in the picture with your fish.
• holding the tape next to the fish for measurment

Scoring

One point issued for each inch of lenth. Even a 1 inch fish will score in this event, so enter and enter often. We will take the score of your best of up to 16 species you enter. If you only enter three species of fish they will be scored the same and you don't have to have 16 species to enter (1 giant fish could win).

Bonus point...

Earn an extra point by takeing an aditional picture of your fish with you and your bigfishtackle shirt with out the ruler and place it on the wall of fame.

• Length 22.25 inches 5 pounds 12 ounces (5.73lb)
• Date caught April 1st 2004
• City and state caught Commerce Twp Michigan

The State Record for this Species is 7 pounds 3 ounces. The holder of this record is Tim Engler at 22.5 inches in lenth, was caught on 4-15-1995 at 4 pm out of the Kalamazoo River in Allegan County Michigan

The minimum size for Master Angler entry for this species is if caught and released is 20 inches and if caught and kept goes by a weight and that is a minum of 3 pounds 0 ounces

This fish was positivily Identified as a master angler entry by the Department of Natural Resources Lovinia Michigan April 1st 2004

worthy of going in the michigan record books for white suckers caught in the state of michigan for 2004 and as an entry I will receive a patch to sew on to my vest.

This big sucker was caught in the rain using a werm that was picked up off the ground from spring's first worm rain.

wow i didn't realise the contest had started , yeeeeee haaaaaa !

fresh water

this is a 21- 1/2 " male rainbow trout

cought at the foote dam , oscoda , mi.

on 4-1-04 at about 6 p.m.,

method used was bottom bouncing with a wiggler as bait .

i cropped the photo to show part of the bft logo on my shirt above the dorsal fin , see the second attachment .

fresh and salt are seperate. and you may enter both.... this is why I ask you to post what kind of water you fished to catch it in. Save me a headake or two so I dont have to fighure it out in the middle of the night...

BUT A COUSTLEY FISH IT WAS ;

HERE'S A LAUGH FOR YOU .

WHEN I WENT TO LEAVE THE DAM , STARTED PULLING UP THE FISH STRINGER AND DROPED MY STEELHEAD BOX INTO THE RIVER . HAD TO BORROW A NET TO RETRIVE IT . GET UP TO THE PARKING LOT , SET IT ON TOP OF THE JEEP TO GRAB THE KEYS . OPEN UP THE JEEP AND PUT THE FISH , ROD AND VEST IN . AWAY I GO .

HALF WAY HOME I PASS THIS CAR AND HEAR SOMETHING BOUNCE OFF THE ROOF , YEP THE STEELHEAD BOX !

PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY , TURNED AROUND AND START WATCHING THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD FOR MY BOX .

NOW WHEN IT FLEW OFF I WAS PASSING A CAR SO WHAT SIDE WOULD IT BE ON ?

THATS RIGHT , "CRUNCH" .

I RAN OVER MY OWN TACKLE BOX !!!!!!!!!!

ALL MY HOOKS WERE IN PILL BOTTLES , THEY REMAINED SAFE .

THE SNAP SWIVILS AND BARREL SWIVILS WITH ALL THE SINKERS AND SPLITSHOT NOW DECORATE THE HIGHWAY . OH YEA , MY BOBBERS DON'T BOB ANYMORE , LOL !

But what I am asking is..can I make my own Tshirt that says BigFishTackle with an iron on?

um.... funds are not here at the time.. hubby just lost his job today.

Looks like Momma is fishing for food now.

Any BigFish clothing will work (hat, beanie, t-shirt, etc..).

Also keep in mind you most definetly do not need to catch all 16 species. As a matter of fact most people don't. The name can be misleading. Really only your best 16 species count. But you could very easily win with only 5 species if they were big fish. Help us get the word out. The more folks we get to play the better. Also people can enter any time before Dec. 31st.

Last year it was a fun close race all the way till the end!

Okay, as soon as I can get myself to the Columbia River on the Oregon/Washington border and can get a pic of me with a nice 10 foot Sturgeon, you can hand over the trophy. Hehe.

That would be fun but I think that's going to be a trip for next year. Although I do want to get out there to visit my brother this year.

sory I lost the tail in the picture, but I thought you might enjoy seeing a minnow that is caught by hook and line.

we dont have a recorded record for this fish, I have caught them about 12 inches of lenth in years past.

they are edible, and are often called haring
