Way to go! Keep him in it. You will have a easier time with him if you keep him interested. My son is 3 1/2 and he is obsessed thus far. Good lookin animals.

I was thinking the same thing, and where it was set out turkeys do pass though, so I grabbed the hunting guide for my state to look at the regs to see if I could get in a day or two of bird calling and saw we cant use them. not even for bow hunting turkeys.

Bow hunters can hunt from out of a tree stand but thats it...

to bad there aint no wild pigs out there, I think I can hunt them from in there...Tongue

the nearest reported boar is about 15 miles away. there is a pig farm about 5 miles down the road, but I dont think the farmer would let me set the stand up next to his wallar...Laugh

I live in town in the burbs of detroit michigan, I have to take a hike to get a shot off in any direction.Pirate Used to be I could hunt out my back window. I was in one of 5 houses in a square mile, now in that same square mile I am one of 800 houses.

I know how you feel Dave. When i was younger i could walk out the back door on the pheasant opener, walk 1/4 mile of ditch, shoot my 2 birds and go back to bed before 8:30. Did that 3 years in a row. Now the entire city is closed to ALL hunting.Mad

I used a small flashlight so I could see my guides,I tried lazer but it spooks them, this was with my crossman pump action air riffle,177,pellet,"pointed" also my first Mallard, she was 2lb after I cleaned hey,I baked her in the oven,I just skinned her intead of plucking feathers, any good tricks for removing feathers,I like to eat the skin..I have shot 2 pigeon out of the sky with single pellet,2 of my best shots, one was right to left, and the other came front to back, this one fell 6 feet behind me,could of caught him..I shot him almost direct over head.

Ok, this has been a long time comming "reply wise"

Boar hunting is a riot not to mention quite dangerous as well.

these were all taken on the ranch Ted Nugent Currently owns, but did not own when I hunted it back in 78.
