NEW BOOYAA BANAROO STEALTH SHORTS (Closed)
NEW BOOYAA BANAROO STEALTH SHORTS FOR TESTING!

I know most of our Know BOOYAA FISHING WEAR, and yes their all new shorts are hot off the production line and Mike Ramaro of Booyaa has been kind enough to put up a pair for testing, NEW BOOYAA BANAROO STEALTH SHORTS FOR TESTING!

These shorts are literally just in and no photo is available but you all know BOOYAA FISHING WEAR is the hard core wear for the hard core angler!

For specific questions on the new shorts, scroll down from the main page and visit the California boards, Booyaa is the moderator and he will be happy to answer any questions about the hot new short design!

Just a reminder here are the guidelines:
This is a new board where you get the chance to receive and test outdoor gear! Its free and all we ask is that you test it and report back within 45 days of receiving it. We've put this post together as a guideline to assist you in determining which items to apply for and what information you should provide:

1) Please only apply for products that you are in a position to test within the 45 day period.

2) Please include City, and State you live in (if you live in a region that is close to an area that provides better access to test the product that will be considered) or let us know if you have an upcoming trip you can test your product on.

3) Applications will be selected by, your reasons for wanting to test the product, ability to test the product, message board moderator recommendations, and in the case of a tie the person with the most seniority (most posts) will be chosen.

4) Each product post will accept applications for 7 days only, at which time a winner will be selected.

5) Winners should post their field reports (how the product worked) to the corresponding post for their product after testing.

6) There are no limits to the amount of items you can apply for but please do not apply for items you can not personally test.

7) Testers keep in mind the better your report (more detail, pictures, etc..) the more likely you will be chosen again in the future.

8) The administrators will select winners and will be considering moderator feedback so if you are in a good position and would really like to test a product, asking your board moderator for a recommendation can help.

9) Winners will be notified by "reply-post" so be sure your preferences are set to email you upon a reply to your post, if you need assistance in setting these preferences post here and we will reply with instructions. This will be the official post for questions and answers.

10) This is a new program so we must reserve the right to amend these rules if necessary to make things run smoother.

O.K.

Stealth is the mission. Fishing the local city parks and golf courses is interesting here in long beach . The best time to hit them for bass is sunrise and sunset.

Every good fisherman wants his essentail gear with him. Stealthing means you have to be compact. I am looking for a good pair of shorts to do this with. I will be out on Friday night the first time this season. Eldorado is the target.

Been seeing fog and mist by the lake as the tair temp drops meaning the water is warming durring the day.

hard core fisherman only I fish three to four days a week.

My best man got me a new tatoo for a wedding gift.

Not to mention the stealth missions I will partisipat in when in Arizona and New York.

Thanks for the opp.

Long Beach California.

I would love to give these shorts a try. I am living in utah but for anyone that reads the posts for here it has been very very warm. I have worn shorts the last 5 times I have been out and it is really warm. I do mostley shore and small boat fishing so a good pair of shorts would be very handy. I am always looking for something that would be comfy and maby take the place a vesst when a vest is not needed. I will also be spending a week in Ky in march and will be on a boat most of the time and some river fishing. So I can also provide some long term reviews. How they hold up how they did in a walking/shoreline envierment. Small boat and med bass boat sized boats and river style fishing and what they did best in.

Thank you for the chance and opprotunity to be a tester of someone that makes a great product.

Hi Mike, Well I could tell you alot of reasons why I would like to try them out! The main reason is that Im a shorts man, from the time its 45 degrees in the spring, to the time the first snow flies in the fall, thats all I where, the long pants go into the closet. yes I will use them fishing, but I'll also use them golfing, going out for a saturday nite, or going out to eat ! I even wear shorts out bear baiting : ) !!!! After reading the others post, anyone of them would do a good job, but I know my shorts !!

Mike, I would like the opportunity to give these shorts a real test. I'm a charter captain out of Port Canaveral Fl.I'm in shorts for almost the entire year except extreme colder temperatures.Big Fish has sent me several Booyaa items over the past couple of years and they have held up very well. I wear the Trimountain jacket and pants(water-resistant) early in the day till it warms up during the cooler days in Dec-Feb.I have put them through the ringer, exposing them to lots of blood and guts and they still wash up great. My favorite item that Big Fish sent was the pair of Black Nylon Booyaa shorts that I wear often. If these new Banaroo Stealth shorts are made with the same quality, they will be a pleasure to test for you. After all, being exposed to sun, wind, saltwater(far more damaging then fresh water) and fish blood and guts, this will tell how well they do hold up.Attached are 2 pictures of the items I mentioned above. Thanks, Capt Bob LevineCool

hardcore ware for the hardcore angler ? stelth to cover these chicken legs ? you want them tested to the extreme ? no better place than to test them than here in B.F.tackleland , i have some of the deepest lakes and some of the widest rivers here , stocked full of future fishsticks ! my boss at work says i'm pretty good at testing his patience , so i guess i have a pretty good history of being a canidate for testing things out .

i'll wait till summer to get a pair , send me some purchasing info ,( just getting some more mileage on this photo , and showing our test audience how a photo could enhance there odds of winning )

good luck guys , you all sound like the kind of testers we need here .

Gentlemen.I am an environmental services coordinator for the with the Duval County School here in Jacksonville Florida. By far my biggest hobby is spending time fishing the rivers and back waters of N.E Florida and South Georgia when the offshore conditions are unfavorable. If conditions are right...I can be found offshore drowning bait in search of Big Daddy. I am extensively involved in our Marine Science Center. This facility teaches marine education, specieation, conservation and industrial marine arts. One of our courses tought to the students is heavily geared towards fishing both offshore, river and associated tributaries.

On field days, many hours are spent collecting trash, water samples for analysis, setting environmental monitoring equipment and assisting instructors set up and prepare our fleet of 5 boats for any upcoming fishing or research trips with he kids.

It is my opinion that the shorts being offered for testing would not only be subject to fish parts and pieces of every size, but would also be challenged as to the ability to carry a large assortment of tools, gloves, sandwiches, note pads and other assorted required items of abuse. As the "wearer of the shorts", I would ensure an ensemble of parameters be tested while sporting the Booyaa shorts.

Once our field work has been completed, our next stop would be in the garage where the Yanmars, Cats, Detriots are inspected and made ready for the next outing.

I feel that the exposure to the various elements not only organic but of the mechanical persuation as well, would create an arena of multiple challenges to the Booyaa Shorts thus enabling a panel of school kids an insight to a very well made and lets not forget "way cool"pair of shorts.

Upon returning from some of our fishing trips, many ouf our catches are prepared for eating. After watching several runs of Iron Chef and Emerils, I am quite confident that the culinary arts can also employ several testing situations upon the Booyaas. Cooking oils, grease, batter and lemon-ade mix would surely be an inviting mix upon your fabric. This would obviously require many washing and could report on this parameter as well!

Our testing (and or abuse) methodologies will be documented and reported on in a timely and professional manner with photographic documentation incorporated into a final testing report. Included parameters would be.

1.Looks! Got to be cool!

2.Durability,

3.Comfort

4.Practicality

Just think of us as your source of "Consumer Report Staff".

Our "new" motto... Who ya without your Booyaa!!! lolCool

We would love to hear back from ya!

SmileI would like to begin by thanking you for the opportunity to become a product tester.

My hometown is in Marion, Indiana. And we have all four seasons throughout the year. Which produces some hard core fishermen and women. Our Springs are windy one minute, and the sun is beating on your back the next. So shorts and a sweatshirt(with a tank under it) is perfect for our fishing season.

I am a fisherwoman who has been fishing for thirtysix years. I am dedicated and fish eight months out of the year. I fish from the bank, boat, and docks. I have fished off bridges... under bridges.

I have been where no man has gone.(just joking)

Your New Booyaa Banaroo Stealth Shorts sound durable for any situation that fishing may produce. I would love to test your product, and give you a fishin womans point of view.

May the wind always be at your back, and the path soft against your feet..........
Thank you..

www.fishin.comMy name is Jim Dicken. I currently also edit another web site with a product review, where I do most of the testing myself. I fish about 70 days a year and work with over 20 local guides. Would love to try the shorts and report back on them. Will also provide a review on the other site I work on as well.JimD072@aol.com[url]http://www.fishin.com
