Does anybody know if Enders lake in Chase county is still low? if so are there any steps being taken to bring up the water?

Nature is better with butter .

I try to get out there about twice a year, my parents live in Imperial (about 12 or so miles from the lake) next time will be in sept. when its not so hot there, it was a great lake to fish, good crappie and walleye,

just wondering how our favorite out of state michigander is doing these days.

havent heard from ya in a while.

I know this is an old post, I was wondering if you hit any walleyes when you was out to see the folks...

The water is actually up a little from recent rains. The overall status of the lake is still low. There is no water being released at this time. Here is a link to the status of all area lakes: http://www.usbr.gov/gp/water/rflow.cfm

The fishing has been fantastic. I caught about 75 white bass and wiper in about 3 hours there last week. They are really schooling and going after the shad on topwater. Also, the Smallies are really going good. Got a 17 inch Largemouth and 9.5 inch Bluegill last week as well. This is probably the best White Bass lake in the state. We use SOT kayaks to fish and it is a lot fun.
