4th Annual Ocean City Offshore Challenge (All Season)
The 4th Annual Ocean City Offshore Challenge will begin June 15th! I apologize for the late notice as well as late start to the tournament. I wasn’t sure if I’d be in town to administer the tournament this season but fortunately I am and there already seems to be considerable interest in the event.
The rules and entry fees remain the same as last year, except that Basic Entry is now only $300 and the Tuna Monthly Calcutta is $250. For charter boats, we are still offering advertising on our website which will cost an additional $50 which will include advertising your vessel through March 1st 2008. I will be uploading a catch report to the website which entrant’s may download and print out to take to various weigh stations (you should print a couple and keep them in your boat in case a weigh station runs out). If you email me I will be happy to send you an electronic file of the catch report that you may print out as well. In the event that you are unable to find an Offshore Challenge Catch Report at the time of weigh in, please feel free to use a MD citation form or anything the weigh station does have, just make sure the weighmaster, captain and angler sign it as well as include the species and its length.
