Rockport 6-24
Lots of bass in the 10" range, one at 14". Perch, Perch, Perch. Lots of 9" to 10" perch in Rockport. Maybe the good water years and low pressure are letting a rebound happen. I'm looking forward to this winter.

No trout for me, several people had them, Pop Gear/worm mostly.

I caught bass with small perch colored spinnerbaits cast to shore and retrieved and with jigs below a slip bobber in 26' of water (at 1pm) The perch came on worms while anchored up in the main channel about 15' deep and casting around with slip bobbers set at 14'.

I have found from many decades of experience that having your line in the water improves enormously your chances of catching a fish. On the other hand, as I’ve frequently learned from those same decades of experience, having your line in the water is no guarantee you will catch a fish...
