Hungry Cowboy
A hungry cowboy in the old west entered a saloon. With his belly grumbling, and his pockets short of change he was wondering how he would get some food. Then, he noticed an old cowboy next to him starring with no expression at a bowl of chili on the bar in front of him.
The Hungry Cowboy watched for a while, wondering what the old Cowboys hold up was on eating the chili. Finally, the old cowboy sat up taller on his bar stool and pushed the chili away. Perplexed, the Hungry cowboy went up to the old man and inquired if the old man was going to eat the chili.
"No, I'm not going to eat the chili" Said the old man
The hungry cowboy replied "Well, can I have it?"
"Sure, OK" came the reply.
The Hungry cowboy started wolfing down the chili, commenting to the old man how good it was in between mouthfuls. Then.. he stopped.. looked a little closer at the bottom of the chili bowl and could see some fur.. In a panic, he sifted out the fur with his spoon to see that it was indeed a DEAD MOUSE!.. Disgusted, he lost the chili in his belly right back into the bowl.. Puzzled, he looked up at the old cowboy who replied:
"Yeah, that's about as far as I got too!"
