Great photos Dave. Just curious, who ranked those resorts?

skiing magazine

ya, snow sniffers have their own cult... LOL...Cool

I used to work at a ski lodge, Tincy that it may be in comparison to those formentioned, it is still a party no matter what side of the chair lift you are standing.

any one of the top ten would be a five star resort compaired to what I am used to... "artificial snow, short runs, lath board seats, antiquated hydrolic lift systems" I loved every minute of it,

I dont know how these guys do their rateings, I realy have no experience to compair to thier selected but the guys I worked with I am sure would not quible...

they rant about sugar loaf in michigan, but it is hard to compete with the skiing conditions and resorts in the higher altitudes of the rockies and smokies...

Basically, all the best ski resorts are out west.... I've been wanting to take my family on ski trip for the first time this winter but haven't decided where to go... I don't know whether I should start them out on the smaller type slopes or go for the bigger slopes that are well known... Big decision because I want the family to enjoy it, instead of being a big bust for the very first trip.....
