SparkleFish Magnum Applications (closed)
This Lure is manufactured by SparkleFish. Apply by clicking reply (above to the right) to Test this product! (1 of these is available for testing)

MAGNUM can be used with leadcore line, down riggers, deep six, or weight release. MAGNUM does not need extra flashers to attract fish and is best used alone. We recommend you troll MAGNUM at 2.5 to 4 miles per hour. The faster you troll the better the action.

USE: TROUT / SALMON

Hey there,

I live in the great fishing and hunting state of Alaska. I do a lot of fishing for Salmon, Lake Trout, Dolly Varden, Rainbow Trout, and Grayling.......to name a few. I fish mostly fresh water but when I have the chance, I also love trolling in the bays for whatever may bite.

From the photo posted, the Magnum looks like many spoons with the exception of the bend in the nose and the decals. I'm not a true afficianado of this type of lure but if you would like someone who is an avid fisherman and is willing to try out your lure for you in the various Alaska lakes, I would be happy to.

You can contact me using my e-mail which is as follows:
nippers@mtaonline.net

Thanks
Derek

As live in Scotland I realise that this application's success is unlikely ! However , I would like to try out your lure for giant sized brown trout in our Scottish Highland Lochs . We call them Ferox . They are are hugely untapped resource once fished for by the Victorian era . They weigh up to 40 pounds . We have sole access to two very large lochs on a Highland Estate near Inverness in which we have seen Ferox on the sounder. Please let me know if you are interested in testing your lures .
Many Thanks ,

Paul Rankine

I fish salmon and trout in Lake Ontario and Lake Huron, I also fish walleye in Lake Erie. I believe that I could provide an accurate assessment of your product. I am usually running sliders on my line so I use the lures that I know work and that leaves extra spots to try other lures to see what will work. Thank you Bill

"The Magnum" would be a welcome addition to the waters I ply in the Great Lakes. A new face in the water might just be the ticket for some of the wary lakers and browns that inhabit our fisheries.

I'll give this a rigorous workout, and report my results back promptly.

I fish the Flaming Gorge and Bear Lake. I would be interested to give a full report after using these to go after Lake Trout and large Cutthroat Trout. It would be interesting to try on some Tiger Musky as well. I plan to spend a large amount of time on them this year will a full log of each days fishing.
