Those roads are hard on trailers. I wouldn't do it. You'll never get that trailer to the shoreline. Those roads are rough and a little steep in places. Add a little snow, ice, or mud, depending on the conditions and it could be a pain in the rear. Not really a place for large trailers like yours.

You could get it close, parking it a few miles from the fishing area in a decent place but would have to drive back and forth to the lake. That's not a bad option.

u will be fine... it is washboard though, you will have to go slow. plenty of room not sure why anyone would say otherwise, there are two large circular turn arounds just as you enter the area, each within 25ft of the shore, ground is solid enough for a big trailer. There was a trailer there tuesday night and i was wishin i had mine.. Now, if 50+ cars show up for the bash, u may have an issue, but not a big one.

i see trailers there quite frequently...

my two cents

Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes. Someday, so will I.

I guess I should of claified myself. I was referring to Road 11. That our usual route into Lost Dog. That would be a nasty road for a 35' fifth. Sounds like most folks will be coming in from the north on road 12?

  • This road from mile marker 10 (Lost Dog road) to the confluence is 10 miles of washboard. take it slow and you'll have no problems. there is plenty of room for campers and trailers.
