Fishing

Does any one know if there are any trout in Clinton pond now? I made a bunch
of spinners today and wanted to test them out.
Every time I have tried that pond it has been a waist of time.

There are trout in there and I have seen a few caught. I have not caught any myself.

Yeah they are in there. Never fished it myself but I know from past stocking reports that they are in there. The Roy pond sure has some dandy trout in there, only about a mile or two from the Clinton Pond!!!

Hey Bud,
I am giving up the old honey hole because I have become to damn lazy to carry my 45 REQUIRED beers down there and fish. Too lazy in fact that I even have a cooler with wheels on it and will still not venture the whole 1/8 of a mile hike there!!! Jaxson was a stud!!! Better keep him away from Sierra, better yet you and I can have a cold one on the porch knowing they are on a date rather than worrying who he/she is with!!!!!

Just came back, it is only a half mile from my house. threw the spinners to see how they worked and left. should have spent more time there working it,but it is not a comfortable place for me to fish Too manicured! give me willows to snag in,mud to walk through,wild life to explore,and the sign says no alcohol.

There is NOT a sign that says "No Alcohol" at the Roy Pond. Been there hundreds of times (about 3 blocks from the house) with the cooler full of beer and even got checked for a fishing license about 4 times too. He never said a word about me slurring my words, pile of beer cans or the missing hook on the end of my line!!!

James, good to see your still round. I don't watch the fly page much. I'd bee still willing to take you up on the family section of E.C. Creek if you want. Plenty to snag there and also some great fish...PM me if interested.
