Small Mouth fishing @ Minnersville
I am a local here at Beaver and wanted to try out Minersville earlier this week. The smallies have moved in to spawn and by the looks of my catches they are incredible in size this year. One gentleman caught one over 20 inches that day. Still a little early but, it looks great for small mouth this year at Minersville.

Welcome to the site and good info. thanks. It's a little far for me but I have a Motor home for a week this summer thinking about the fish lake and surrounding areas don't want to trout fish the whole time that is a good option.

As a long-time Utah resident, I am embarrassed to admit that I don't know where Minersville is. Could you give a quick location and description of the lake?

It's west of Beaver about 10 miles. The lake is similar to Otter in structure and depth. Most noted for it's trophy trout during good water years.
