hmmmm never did that either.. but.. when I saw your post I was wondering.. if the fly is small enough to fit inside there how do you suspend it like that without being really noticeable.. ??

to bad we aint doing a hallowen fly swap, cuz mine look like a nightmare on freddies street.

thats one sweet orniment.

I like that almost as much as my cigerett lighter with the fly in it.

You can buy clear plastic ornaments specifically for the purpose of inserting your own little goodies. Someone once gave me one loaded with golf tees as a Xmas stocking stuffer.

the one that Ive had the most luck with is the plain ol wooly worm.. caught a lot of sunfish on that this past summer and the year before as well...

Planning on soaking this dude on my next outing. That is if my dries with a nymph dropper don't entice a bite.

I think my favorite woolly bugger would have to be the HOT CHOCOLATE because it is what the BIG FISH like.

Works for me. For someone who seldom uses WB, I have tied sooooooo many the last few days.
Poky is in town and we are hitting the Berry tomorrow. I have tied white, pink, Chartreuse, Orange.....you name it!!!!!! I am sooooo done tying right now, ARGH!
