Fishing

got there around 4:30 and fished to it got to dark to see the water. saw a few fish jump and caught about a 9 inch largemouth. the water was a lot higher then this time in years past. this is only my third year down here though so i don't know if this is normal levels but i would say atleast 10 feet higher.

no all the reservoirs are fuller in the valley this year. this is the fullest I've seen any of them in the six years I've been here.

i was fishing for whatever would bite. in november i was happy to catch anything. i'm from canada so to open water fish in november is awesome for me. and i caught the fish on a green spinner bait. tried tubes but it was to weedy on the bottom. and i'm heading out again today so i'll see if i can manage a musky just for you bassaholic

Walk along the east bank but you need to go toward the north end where there is a little island sticking out of the water, I have seen numerous musky out about 12-15 feet out at the drop-off along the whole shoreline... Throw out far and then bring back and jerk the lure often. I am thinking about hitting newton in my boat one last time.... I am waiting on a good report of biting muskies first... let me know how you do...

well i went out again today and didn't even see a fish, but i stuck to the southwest side, so i'll try the north east. thanks.

My buddy Karl and I have got a pretty killer system for slayin muskies. But they're gonna be less active with the cold temps we've had lately. I'm just waiting to try and get one through the hard deck.
