I love trout and I cook them like this.
Leave the skin on and make sure the vein is completely removed from the cavity. Place 2 ice cubes in the cavity,with
broccoli, or another veggie you like, spices of your choice( mine is lemon pepper and butter), and wrap tightly with bacon. Wrap in tin foil and cook slowly on the BBQ. It will steam from the inside out and is very tasty. By the way, I am from McAlester. Let me know how it turns out.
Now when I go fishing if I catch a nice trout I'll keep it for dinner, I never thought I'd say that...
P.S. A squirt of lemon juice makes it perfect!
