Well i got the rod i won in the last contest. I is a very nicely built rod.Now I have to buy a reel to go on it.

I am glad you like it, you give any thought to what kind of reel you might put on your new Clasic BigFishTackle Rod? spinning or trolling reel.

I hope it brings you as much luck as mine has done for me. I have one and I can say it handles like a charm.

Well its not really built for a spinning reel because it has casting guides ( small ) and not the big spinning guides.I guess I will put a casting/trolling reel on it but not sure what brand.I have a big Okuma Convector reel that is rated for 30# line and holds 330 yds. of it .I may put it on there for now.
