Steelhead runs on the Snake River near Lower Granite Dam
I know there is a run that goes from Sept.-Nov. but when are some other steelhead runs that go through here?

Also what other types of fish can be caught and when are their runs? Thanks

Or around Clarkston?

Steelhead can be caught around lower granite almost any time. Fish bound for the upper snake river clearwater and salmon rivers above lower granite enter the columbia Jul-Oct and stay nearly a year spawning in May and June. Many of them will also turn around as Kelts and make a run hoping to again reach the sea and spawn another day once they are all done. So if you figure the last of them start heading down some time in June and the first of them are arriving for the following season in July you can pretty much say anytime of year at all. The Chinook are a similar story the springers will open in april and overlap the the fall run untill oct. Also note there is a significant portion of the fish bound for the upper snake river drainage and it's major tribs which overwinter just below the dam. Hope that helps, I'm no biologist but a fishing nut and that is my understanding anyway
