Causey Reservoir?
Ive never been to causey but wanted to give it a try tomorrow morning. Was just wondering if anyone has been there lately and could give me a report of the fishing and what has been working. I will be fishing from the shore with waders if necessary. I have fly and spinning rod, so whichever works best is what I will use. I would appreciate any good spots from shore, im looking to get into the splake and tigers if possible. Thanks

Waders don't really work at causy as it drops pretty rapidly unless you are by the scout camp, which is one of the better spots to fish, also near the other inlet on the south side. I have only caught one fish at causy while bank fishing, and that was earlier this spring using a white curly tail jig. The DWR says worms/powerbait, and spinners.

Thanks for the info so far. Looks like I wont be headed there then since its still muddy. Any idea of when it starts to clear up?
