Fishing

Has anybody been down to LB BH and seen if the ice is still fishable I want to give it one last try before i put up the ice gear. Any info would help me.

 Give it up man. Start praying for all the ice to be gone and we can get to catching some real fish.
I'm going down tomorrow to see if there is any chance I can break it out. If I can launch, it's toast.

I seems to me that winter has just begun with all this snow. If you do break threw that will be ok. I will have to go to fish hole number 2.

Get the Blue Maru on the water and clear out the ramp so we can get after 'em. Iff it wasn't for you and the Maru we'd have to wait until April to launch.
I'd take up a collection for you for your efforts, but you'd just buy dog food with it.

Well, the Chukar hunt ended yesterday. Dogs are sad. Me too. Fishing is great, but watching my dogs hunt is awesome! Now its time to get serious about fish. The boat needs a new battery. I'll get that today and install it. Every year one goes bad. Guess that's the price you pay for having five batteries in the old tub. Got 150 new jigs yesterday. Waiting on some jig paint(mine dried up), a new rod and reel, and some new grubs to try.

From what I could see on the livelakeview.com camera yesterday, the lindon harbor is open water if that helps.

Put the ice gear away. The ice in Lincoln Beach boat ramp is about an inch thick. The end of the boat ditch is ice free for the last 25 yards or so. I drove down the ramp and slammed my brakes and sent a ripple out about seventy five feet. It would be real easy to break all the ice out with the boat. If I get some other stuff done, I'll do that this afternoon.

Stop by and pick me up if you go. I want to photograph the carnage as the Blue Maru destroys the last obstacle holding back the masses of walleye anglers from their destiny. What a day it will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well thanks for the confirmation let us know if you get the boat out threw the polar ice cap. I will fish in hole number 2 their was 8 in last sat so im hopping for enough to get out on. The boat is ready to launch at a moments notice. In the mean while im trying to sell it. I want to buy a tooner.
