Once you know everything about anything its what you learn afterwards that counts.

Skunked, we never get skunked its the fish getting skunked as they just kept missing our lures.

I saw some youtube videos by "HookedOnUtah," and this dude looks like one of those guys. But I agree, those are some expensive trips. I did notice that they weren't too good at estimating length and weight of the fish they caught. They measured some of the lengths, and were way short of their estimates.

Northern Pond UnsureUnsure...talking LOW, Mille Lacs, Leech/Red lake maybe even Vermillion lake. Haven't a clue about any other Nothern Pond...I'm lost...hereSmileSmile

Thinking we will contact Charlie and/or Jack for a potential trip maybe even employing the proven and tested TDC for the behemoths. But we'll ask these top-notch guides first on the TDC to ensure we have that proven setup...CoolCool

Takes all kinds. At least THIS add had some better handling pics shown. I'd STILL rather put MY money on K2 or Wildcat than some bozo on KSL.

OR - I'll put in the time and the Three-Ps and just go for it.... thinks with all your help - I'm better equipped and prepared than I was when that first musky munched my perch on light tackle! Hope for some more succesful landings, and safe releases this year!

Here in Utah we are so freakin lucky to have one of the best TM waters in nation if not the best. Also we are lucky to have an open season on them, my buddies in minnesota cant start fishing for them til june i believe and they end their season in october-ish. We are really lucky to have what we have.

Thats why I believe many hardcore TM anglers dont give much up, because its all about earning your fish not going out every trip and catchin a grundle, that would be nice but its not reality. I am 8 trips deep into pv with 1 follow and 4 moved fish and 1 landed(not by me either), not great #'s by any means but i have no problem with that, it feels great to earn the fish you catch not just get lucky and stumble onto them while fishing for other species.

So call us standoffish, arrogant or what you may, but check yourself before you look at us in a different light.
Perserverance is the difference from an avid dedicated successful angler and your typical bucketlist weekend warrior.

Damn I love them fish with teeeef!!

no no dont take it the wrong way bro it was not directed at you, or any one just giving some personal feelers. I am more than willing to help and give my insight but I believe the best knowledge is getting your ass kicked time after time, I am 8 trips deep with nada well over 60hrs on the water with nothing. Yea its early but in the end its on "me" cuz i am not giving them what they want.... I will help out in any capacity, feel free to ask away, however there is also info i can not share out of respect for those who have confided in me and for the time, $$, and energy spent by those people who chase these beautiful beasts.

Put in your time and good things will happen. Its people that expect to catch fish such as tiger every trip out that drive me nuts!!

DO WORK!!

Of course I expect to, that's called confidence.

Had it smashed several times, but it comes back whenever I launch the boat.
