white bass no limits
I was reading some of your posts about keeping whitebass. Some were for limits ,some thougt keeping a few whites was Terrable.
Just thought Id throw my two cents . I grew up on utah lake and for the past 50 years have ate probably thousands of the little critters and hope to eat several thousand more before I die. And It wont be from toxins from the fish.
My slant on keeping whitebass is this. If I caught 10,000 fish a day for 7 days a week there would still be more fish in the 50 years ,I fished for them, Than before I started fishing for them. Just an opinion .

More than any other Utah species, white bass are virtually unaffected by the harvest of anglers. They are more subject to fluctuations in water levels, spawning efficiency among prey species, size and number of predators and their own numbers. If they spawn well and have plenty to eat they are like rats. When times get tough they get fewer and/or smaller...but they will never get caught out by fishermen.
