Fishing

Hey all you Colorado guys! I have a summer job out in Denver and will be able to fish from sunup to around 10:30 any day of the week. I am looking for a few lakes around the Denver area that produce some good bass fishing smb or lmb. Anyone have any recommendations? The closer to Denver the better. Thanks!

Lots of SMB in Aurora and Chatfield. There are also a number of small waters with good LMB, but nobody is handing out those details to people they dont know, let alone posting them on the interweb.

Please practice C&R on bass in the metro area.

Hey thanks! Yeah I always catch and release. I fish for Utah valley university. I don't want to take anyone's secret spot I just want the dust to keep from building up on my bass gear. Colorado is beautiful! If anyone needs a fishing partner let me know

hey tater, I just realized we grew up in the same little valley. good possibilities we know each other. I wish I could assist more in the bass hunt, but lately I have just been flinging flies in the high country.

Don let's go next weekend! Just got settled in this week. Looks like our apartments are in Thornton so not too far from Denver. Fishboy2 you came from Heber?! That's awesome! Small world. I MAY be going back to Utah this week sometime for a shoot with Adam Eakle for KSL Outdoors tv show. If not I want to fish! So if anyone wants to go let's do it.

I'm already committed next weekend. How about getting together for an adult beverage one evening?

YUP!! There are actually a few of us heberites out here. All around colorado in fact. My bass knoweldge is limited, I am always into learning new techniques. I typically have thursday-sat off from work, maybe we can find a place to meet up. I like dons suggestion of adult beverages.
