Suppose you'd call that a 'bait and switch'

all I know - is I'd have to watch out for me toes if TD was yur dancing partner! (actually took ballroom dancing with the Mrs - proved - She can, I can't!)

I've reposted pictures, though I'll never claim them as my own, and will defer any such suggestions. But there's some - like Roghet's Giant Crappie - that are just moments to remember, and share. . .

CoolUhhhhhh...why do you need a guide on Deer Creek?

Oh...I get it. You are just into creative advertising.

Is that it? Failed 3rd grader? What are you 12? You can't get under my skin buddy. You are more than free to defend your friend but making stupid comments about my grammar when my iPad is doing it's auto correct thing is a little childish. Fish On

Haha, when all else fails, blame auto-correct.

Welcome to the bottom of the barrel.

The photo on that site under " black crappie" is a photo of me. I did catch that fish at Lake Powell. I was also asked by him if he could use my photo under that web site. He did find it right here on bft. But he asked. And I told him he could.

I was referring to the photo on the KSL advertisement, not the one on utahfishinginfo.com.

No bigger, I was simply sharing with all that I'm a member here that was asked if he could use my photo on his site.

Who cares if he spelled something incorrectly. It sure isn't a reason to make a couple posts about it and call him a third grader.

Hello, Clif (UTBASS) here.

I used that picture from google. I had no idea it was tube dude's photo. Sorry tube dude! As for my KSL post, I will take your photo down. I posted images of the fish I can teach others to catch. I want to help others but with the way the economy is, times are hard all the way around. On the flip-side ... I am hurt from some of the comments that were made about me but seriously, if you knew me, you wouldn't be saying those things. We are adults here and I am not going to throw others under the bus. None of us are perfect and mistakes we all make, seem to follow us around our whole lives.

Once again, i'm sorry about the photo and if you have a personal issue with me send me a private message and let's put the past where it belongs. I have paid for my mistakes and just love to teach others how to fish. It's one of life's greatest rewards!

Have a great summer!

NOTE: I downloaded the three photos, rotated them in Windows Picture and Fax viewer, and re-uploaded them. My guess is they aren't truly rotated on your computer.
I've seen folks upload from phones, and as smart as they are these days, some don't wanna rotate - neck kink city!

CoolSorry Clif. I put up that post in a humorous vein after another BFTer spotted your ad and recognized my arm. I had no idea it would go the direction it did.

No problems between you and I. You have my permission to use any of my pics you want.

Good luck with your venture. Hope it works well for you.

I'd take it as a compliment someone posted your fishing pictures. Like was already hashed they're in the public domain unless you copyright them. I had a couple of mine that I posted on BFT placed on someone's blog last year. They pm'd me after the fact but of course I said it was fine. They were both landscape pictures from the High Uintas. Hopefully some day I'll be a good enough fisherman that someone will want a fish pic I tookLaugh.

CoolI believe I have already admitted in a previous post that I AM flattered that anybody would want to use a pic that I have posted. And I ain't all hung up on artistic license and all that rot. I also know that anything on the web is pretty much given consent to anybody who wants to use it...for whatever reason. No problem.

Also no problem with you becoming a good fisherman...or taking good pics. I think you are doin' fine on both counts. It's just that you always post pics of those silly spotted fish.

Now Clif, do not take this as a slam. It certainly is not a slam. But might I suggest that when you post pictures on here (or anywhere for that matter) that you make sure that the pictures will show up on the thread standing top side up? Your first three pictures are laid over on the left side making it difficult to enjoy them without doing some extra fidgeting with them to view them top side up. Know what I mean? Again, no slam; just a friendly (I hope you take it that way) suggestion.

Maybe one of the Mods can offer up a suggestion or maybe even fix the problem. Hint; hint.
