Fishing

Morris Reservior - I have been working on houses in the avenues and on my maps there was a Moms lake that I just had to check out. I shot up there by 8pm and searched and searched. Asked mtn. bikers and nada. I rode around on my mtn. bike and searched. Nope it was the giant water storage tank that was next to the parking lot.

So I just biked around and got used to the funny stares from all the people for having spikey hair and rods sticking out of pack. Good times and a great start to August fishing.

Although there was some great touring terrain for backcountry skiing.

Look in the background and there is the reservior!


Anybody got a pair of wire cutters and giant can opener?

You got skunked alright. I checked it out on google maps and it's on there too, but it's listed as Morris reservoir. Funny because with the small font I can see how the "i" blends in with the r's and the dot looks like an apostrophe. LMAO. If someone is not on satellite it would definitely look like a fishable reservoir, except it looks conspicuously circular. Oh, and do you carry your rods when your working? If so, you are a fishing nut, and I applaud that.

I don't carry it with me. My company truck would leave it open to theft a lot because as a pest control tech I go inside houses for long periods of time. I am looking into a rod that can fit in a pocket so I can sneek it to work.

Although my boss frowned when he said "you have a gap from time to time". So I responded "Sweet I can fish" He got worried that all the company gear will be unattened while I fish. So I think he doesn;t like the idea of me fishin.

For once I think I am glad that I was working and missed out on this adventure. Guess a new place like that was double or nothing....sure hurts to get nothing.

Hopefully tomorrow we can change your start to the august fishing season.
