I always wanted to go to echo lake for that small derby. If I went 2 years ago I could easily got to my fav spots and pull out 15-17 in 2 pounders out of that lake. I wonder if there going to still do that derby next year because of the water level. >_< If they do it I might just slay the perches ha ha ha ha. Nice job man

Nice Dog Koch. I think you've aged a bit since the beginning of the summer in that pic.

Also, caught a few fishing rods and a couple of anchors. Amazing how much wonderful stuff there is decorating the bottom.

At least there is part of a fish on that last one. What are the odds of catching a dead fish that was hooked by the mouth? At least at one point.......

I'm tellin ya I gotta gift for catching little fish. Don't give up keep setting goals and spending ridiculous amounts of time fishing.

It does make you wonder what could the fish be thinking.

We've caught a lot of fish this year, but nothing has compared to Powell! We'll be going back in October, hopefully we'll catch some stripers this time.

Summer isn't over 'till I can't launch the boat because the lake iced over Wink. It was a good year, a couple trips to Powell in the spring that spoiled me. A 7 1/2 lb. walleye. 19 1/2" lmb a couple weeks ago. Huge spring smallies in terrible weather and largies starting in March. The summer heat and low water helped in some places, hurt me bad in some others but I learned new ways to fish when things were tough. I always had a go to place but it was like cheating, sometimes I like the fishing being tough because it makes me work harder.
I found a new spot this year that I'll be visiting in the spring time, thanks to a fellow BFT'er. Best topwater bite I've ever had.

Nice catches there TD. Did ya smoke 'em or grill 'em?

Might not qualify as "topping" anything, so much . . .

This year has brought me my first Kokanee, first Walleye - biggest Cat, more Bass and Crappie than prior years. Not to mention the buckets of Bluegills. Hardly pestered any trout, though I did pull a couple browns out of a ditch in spring. Also my biggest carp, and first fish on a fly, plus catching with a CoyoteCapSpinner.

Oh - and don't forget these little pretties!

Caught this a while back and will forever be one of my most memorable experiences. Missed a hit from a big fish first cast into a hole, went back the next day, made the same exact cast and hooked up with the beast goes to prove that big fish pick out spots in the river and stay there!

My other most memorable catch was a 21 inch tiger sight fished down on boulder mountain.

And heres a few more

And this beautiful unexpected cuttbow was the most recent
