if you had to pick an asst,which would you ,
and why do you choose with price as a guide line or just get what you fill will work in our waters or have you gone fishing with someone else and used what they were using and had good results,

I like F5 Rainbow Pattern for the rivers, also Gold and Black and Brown Pattern and perch to in F5 for lakes trolling.
They all have also worked for Trolling fairly well but, Have just started buying CD7 for lake casting and trolling in the same Patterns. Have some Jointed rapalas to but haven't given then enough time to see how well they work.
I don't go buy cost or I would never buy anything, Ha Ha.

I'm not gonna even pretend and act like I understood that what so ever... so instead I'll just say if you don't already, try using a small duolock on your rapala for a more attractive presentation. I have noticed a signifacant difference between straight line to lure, line to swivle to lure and line to duolock.

I'm curious how the jointed rapala would work for ya..especially trolling try the 3 1/2"
I use it here in S FL but them again I can use a shoe lace and to catch fish here

What type of fishing are you doing? Boat/shore? And what species are you chasing?

Regardless of which pattern you use, it is vital to use a looped line connection and not a "hard" tie like a clinch knot. A non-slip loop in your line is always much better than any kind of swivel, because even the lightest snap changes the balance of the lure.

Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult

I've pretty much used them to target bass, though I've also caught trout and panfish on them. I have done well with X-Raps, Husky Jerks, Shad Raps (all varieties), Rippin Raps, Clackin Minnows, and the DT series. I really like the perch patterns around here as most of the warm water fisheries have perch.
