Joes Valley boat ramp
I'm thinking of heading to Joes in a week or two, but the last time I ws there three weeks ago the water level was just above the last concrete pad on the ramp. I'm assuming that the water has gone down more since then. Has anyone been up there lately, and can tell me if I can get my boat in or not? Thanks, Fred K.

The second boat ramp (on the east side) wased put in during a very low water year several years back when the main ramp was out of the water. So if the main (by the marina) is out the other should be ok.

Hi Lonnie,
When I was there back on the 13th of this month I went off the end of the east ramp and into the mud when I launched my boat. I'm assuming that water level has continued to drop since then. I'd sure hate to drive all the way from Ogden to fnd out that I can't get my boat in! Anyone been there in the last week or so? Thanks, Fred.

Hi Lonnie,
Its looking like I will have to get ahold of someone with the DNR or the marina. I haven't fish Joes too much in the past, so I don't know how low it gets in a normal year, but its way down this year. Take care, Fred.

I was there yesterday, but not fishing. We went on the W side and could look across at the E one, and it looked out of the water! On a good note there was a boat on the water, but the kind you can haul in the back of your truck and carry to the water...so...it was VERY low...the lowest I've seen in a LONG TIME!

it must be very low, I don't recall only a couple of years since the dam was finished in1969 or 70 where launching a boat was a concern.
