Fishing

Just curious if the tradition has continued. I have been in Utah since 2007 but I look in once in a while.

Good fishing to all miss Utah terribly, inland fishing and gas prices suck her in cal.

Good to hear your still kicking Dave. The Salsa Boyz event came to an end two year ago, after many fun years of having the event. The catching had slowed way down in the years leading up the last event and the final bullet came when it was moved to Strawberry. We tried to keep it going but no one wanted to take up the cause after Old_Coot decided he had enough. I did it one year and Fish1on did it another year but last year was the first year it wasn't held, since we began it, way back when.

We didn't quite make it to the ten year mark but it was good memeries none the less. There was you and I, Ralph and Craig in Lundman's boat. BLM, as he went by then, in his boat, with Polokid, OneEyedJack. MGB and another guy in his boat. Last but not least, Baitcaster and his son in the boat number four. Over the years it grew into quite an event, one year we even got it on TV thanks to a guy that a lot of you know, that took over after Doug Miller passed away, Adam Ekle. I'll add link to those events on another reply.

Wow, it did turn out to be a traditional event too bad it couldn't carry on. thanks for all the links I had a great time looking over them all.
