I asked AfDan52 if it was ok to post this and he said it was fine. Dans wife was diagosed with liver cancer a short time ago. well the bad thing about this is she only has a short time left with him. After a doctors visit this week they where told the time was only days.

Dan is a long time member here on BFT and a very good friend. My heart goes out to Dan and his wife and family.

Lost my sister in January after a short two month battle with Cancer. No easy way about this, sorry.

Ouch - that sucks. Sorry to hear it. Dan's the one I have to blame for getting me into an ice-tent, and I thank him everytime I drag it out.

I want to Thank all of my friends here at the BigFishTackle Forums for all of the Prayers and comments sent my way. Unfortunately My Wife and Best friend for the last 40 years lost her Battle with Liver Cancer early this morning . Again Thank you all.

Be steady my friend. My heart aches for you and your family. When I said goodbye to my little girl, someone gave me a card that said:


I'm reminded of that quote now. Remember your sweetheart and all of the amazing things she represented, the people she touched, and the lives she helped better. You were a lucky man to have such as her. We are all lucky men.
