Smallie Treat
Got all prepped for the trick or treaters early so hit the pond for an hour and a half.... Not fast, but got a few, better than my usual skunk... Picture doesn't show it, but the one was my personal best smallie, it came in around 3 lbs... Fun day but the cold has slowed their fights a little.. Later J

Man those look familiar. Did they come out of "our" hole? Maybe I'll throw a pole in the boat when I go pheasant hunting out there.

Thanks, I think the warm spell got them moving a little, but they are a little sluggish... J

I was on the pond and may fish rather than chase roos since I don't have a hunt'en dog, not that Fee Bee isn't a good dog, just that I get in trouble every time I take my Snorkie hunting... Don't know why my wife doesn't enjoy the smell of a wet muddy house dog... It's a real hunt'en hound, just a little small.... I may see ya there, not many roos out my way since I planted everything on the south end so I may head in that direction this year.... Later J

Smallies love jigs tipped with a worm, best bait ever.

Thanks I'll have to try it, I had a crawler on the bottom on my second pole but no interest in it... J
