Slide Lake
 Slide lake is frrozen over.6-8 inches of clear hard ice under 8 inches of new snow. Flooded and slushy on top of the ice. Fished most of the day for one bite.Maybe it will be better tomorrow.

 No,Slide lake is up in the Gros Ventre at the base of the Gros Ventre land slide,that is how the lake formed.The whole mountainside slid and dammed the river

Back to slide yesterday and left a nice white jig in the jaw of a big one. Got him started up the hole and his head out and the line popped.Caught 5 other macs.
