Any ice on Fontenelle???
Was going to head up to Fontenelle after some night fishing and don't want to find open water does anybody know if its got a good layer of ice or not?

Been to fontenelle twice in the last week. Ice is good but the fishing is terrible. I have never fished it before so I guess it's going to take some learning. Anyone that wouldn't mind giving me a little advice on the ling?

I use big white or white glow tube jigs it doesn't seem to matter what bait you top them with sucker meat and mill worms seem to work good, I also keep jigging right off the bottom. Good luck I hope that helps.

Thank you. That is what I have been doing, so I guess I'm on the right track. I have been fishing around the boat ramp at the dam. Haven't seen very much movement on the fish finder so maybe I will try some other areas. Thanks again.
