Applicable to most anything that goes into the water.

Now if I can just figure out where in the heck the sticker is suppose to go on the boat I will be good to go... Zero info in the envelope as to the placement requirments for this sticker. Looks like a normal registration sticker just that there is only one. So guessing one side or the other for this sticker.

Yeah, they never said where to put it.

I like how they are making us pay for this sticker, but there isn't a wash-station within 150 miles of here. What exactly are we paying for?

Non residents are paying more yet. What a pita for them. Come here from out of state not knowing about this and having the pain of going through whatever process to get their boat on the water,etc Not sure where this is going. Googled it and see lots of states are implementing AIS, etc.

the sticker goes on the port side, as far back of the boat to the rear of the boat.

I'm not sure what the purpose of this sticker is, just to fund the programs involved in trying to resolve the problem or an actual tracking devise to determine whether or not a boat has been in an affected water recently? With all the holes in the documentation it seems like it's a plan in the creative process still but they want the money before it's fully implemented and determined. My worries would be I'd get a sticker, get harrassed at the Cali. border checkpoint (they've checked my kayak there) and possibly be kept out of my home water cause it is not infested and they see the decal. Could have serious revenue implications for Nevada depending on how it affects out of state boaters.

Unless somebody can show me a flowchart or something I just don't get it?

Looked around and it just seems to be a way to generate fees and they are also saying to educate boaters but no other purpose I could find. Also Minnesota no longer is using it but they will eventually have a program for those that use trailers. Very bizarre wish everybody would get their crap together!
