Looking for old time round 'plastic' bobber to use as slip float.
Hello folks,

As the title says, I'm looking for the old time red/white 'plastic' bobbers that could be used as a slip float. ( I don't really care what color.) The bottom wire clip could be turned to the side where it didn't fall in the hole, leaving it stick up a bit. You could then clip it on the line and it would slid up and down the line. A slip float.

Now-a-days there is no hole for the clip to fall into. The whole bottom of the float is concave and their is no place to make the clip stick up.

Some of the styrofoam round bobbers can be used this way, but I don't much like the styrofoam ones.

On the internet I see some pictures of the old bobbers with the correct bottom. I order them and the bobbers I get have the concave bottom on them.

Does anyone know of the round plastic bobbers with the flat area bottoms on them so they can be used as a slip float?

I should say these are for fresh water. I'm looking for one inch and 1-1/4 inch floats.

Thanks,
Harry
