Casting- This reel has 4 bearings so the reel is very fast on the cast. It takes a little bit to get used to if you are just starting out with baitcasting reels. The reel can cast small lures very well, and large lures will never stop flying through the air. This reel is really good for pitching and flipping. It has a variable breaking system that allows you to get the reel in complete free spool; perfect for your flipping and pitching.

Size- This is a light weight reel made of a composite body, and an aluminum spool. This reel will allow you to fish all day without getting fatigued. Very nice reel and small to fit in the palm of your hand.

Drag- The drag on this reel is beyond smooth. After tons of abuse and catching a lot of drag burning fish, this drag will continue day in and day out to perform to the max. One of the smoothest drag systems I've found on any reel.

Comments- The Shimano Curado is one of those reels that will always fish to the best of its ability. It will never run down, and it is the great reel for the money. I give this reel high ratings on all things and I recommend buying a few for yourself. Can fish both saltwater and fresh, for all your needs.
