Nice day Bassin' before the storm
Went to Gillis' Pond around 11am and fished til about 2pm and caught over 12 bass. Two where over 3lbs (pic below) and the others all over 1 but mostly 2 to 3lbs.
I had a LUNKER get away. I quite possibly could have been the largest bass I have ever hooked but after a 10 minute fight I had it about 4 feet from the bank and it surfaced with the mightiest jump I've ever seen and spit the lure out in my face! Just to guestimate I would say over 10lb possibly up to 12lb...
