This is a brand new SAGE Graphite IIIe, Line 5, Length 9'0", Model TCR 590-4. Never been used. Was bought as a gift for a friend who passed away suddenly. Has been stored in container it came with when purchased. Was purchased brand new for $800.

We do have an ad board for one to hawk their goods.

Yeah this guys has several posts on the internet dating back to last year. Same story - that he bought this rod for someone who just passed away.Perhaps instead of cork it's inlaid with gold.

Oh the rod lists for $750. and I guess add tax, but even I won't go there for any PLASTIC rod. Bamboo is a different story.
Not saying i don't own a rod or two in that range, just didn't and won't pay that.

no deal eh..dont blame you..had to try though..buelah rods are good rods for the money though..that rod is only a 7 wt..tough eh..

by the way thats me fighting the fish...jackrabbits holding the fish and pole..

I wish that were true...but I was a wild kid and broke my back when I was 12 , then a couple more over the years.
This is like a pinching, but I took a good fall on my tail bone last year.

Sorry to hear about all your accidents. At least I had fun developing my back problems as I was a gymnast in school. I don't hurt that much but my back does get tired when wading or standing for a long period of time. Do you have that problem too?

ABSOLUTELY! Specially in the cold winter water. I think I tense up.
The cold never really bothers me that much, but I think I do notice it at times.

mine is not that complicated.. 21 years in the Navy... hard steel decks.. long watches.. working parties.. etc.. takes its toll... Im not really comparing either here since my back problems are no where near the extent of you or DR.. but I do have my days.. LOL.. Ill just call mine becoming an elderly person..

Yeah the Dr's will tell you that you have a degenerated this and a degenerated that, so it probably means that I need a new generator. lol I really don't have a reason to complain after watching these wounded warriors on Fly Fishing Chronicle get out there and fly fish with them having so many debilitating injuries. They are the true heroes.

yea i got it, but the movers smashed the case its in so im having them pay for it to be replaced opnce the military clears the claim rather then send it back to orvis. if they let me keep it after its replaced ill send it to orvis for repair and try to get a new 3 weight.... since Trout_Slayer is home we have been talking about fishing alot!! i have only went once since i closed on my new first house, then the movers came.... im thinking about wall eye in idaho on saturday, but am free this comming sunday if your back feels up to it.

oh yea on a side note, for thise that dont know him from the UT forum, Trout_Slayer is my brother...... he is now also my neighbor... i bought the house next door to him, and i have already heard Roy pond will never be the same

ya gotta love the movers hired by the military.. over the years we only lost a fiew pieces of glassware and a mirror that I had given to my wife on our first Christmas.. so I cant really complain.. the biggest pain was doing the claim for the items.. some of the people that work in the housing offices are 3 bricks shy of a load and are too dumb to realize that they are that way... but as I said thru 6 moves from overseas to stateside and visa versa our losses were minimal..

congrats on the new house... Im sure you are glad to get yourself situated and settled.. :-)
