I love my 8 weights. My BIIx is lighter than a 5 weight, and my Orvis TL 10'er has a 3" fighting butt.
Building a Hardy Glass/Graphite 8 er and I want to put a 6" fighting butt for Carp.

So you caught a dog fish.

How about a cat fish, although you might need to use a little catnip as an enticer? lol
