THat was my front yard! I had 3.5 acreas up in the mountains and we had the moose around all the time. This girl got stuck in the dog kennel and had 2 pissed off dogs barking at her and about 10 friends throwing snowballs at her. If you look real closely the hair on her back is standing straight up and her ears are laid back, he's ready for a fight but the only things to tangle with were trucks and jeeps so she just ran off madder than heck...............

I took this picture when I was nursing a broken leg about 3-4 years ago. I have it on my website (that I haven't worked on in ages) as the opening picture. Go ahead and use it if you want. I actually have a whole series of pictures with her in it. She was a really big girl 6ft at the shoulder and thats no foolin! She stepped over a 4 ft fence to get into the dog kennel. In trying to get her out one of my friends almost got trampled as she chased him around a bunch of scrub in the middle of the kennel. Oh and the dog kennel was 40ft by 60 ft. I used to have minature horses and that was where I kept them.

boy I wished my front yard looked like yours, my nighbors neighbors dont like it when I try to feed the butterflies and hummingbirds with natural foilage in my front yard.

I have all kinds of wild animals in my yard including and not limited to deer cyote possoms skunks squirls oriols doves bees racoons wood chucks rabits chipmunks. my neibors concider these animals a nusance where as they are a thing of buttie and posibly dinner if things get bad around my house.

I dont relish the idea of possom skunk or cyote for lunch....Tongue the others arent to bad....

"The utilities are guaranteed a profit". Truer words were never spoken, Dave. Our Colorado local gas provider, Xcel Energy, recently raised gas rates 63%, before it even got cold, citing low gas supplies and projected increased demand. Now that's counting your chickens before they're even hatched. Because I live in a manufacturered home insulated with a rating of -70 degrees, and I live alone, I haven't really worried about winter time utility bills but our community office secretary spoke of the real concerns, that of those on a fixed income being able to pay their utility bills this winter. This possible crisis situation had her concerned, as it concerned all of us. We have some proud elderly residents living here and they just might forego paying their bill (and risk having their gas turned off) in order to eat. And yes, Xcel, and other utlilty companies won't hesitate to turn off and lock the meter if their bill isn't paid. They accept no excuses, none. Talk about cold-hearted bastards. The only one's they CAN'T turn off are those listed with the local fire dept and electrical company as a life-threatened resident. I foresee a very bad winter of adverse publicity for the utility companies.
