Well as I said before it can't hurt to advertise. Therefore I decided to create a Website to promote the BFT. I am new to this arena so be gentle with you critique. Here is my website which is still under construction. Any and all suggestions may or may not be appreciated.

on the menue board take out the bft url address it is to wide and dosnt link up.

Other than that it is looking great.

on the bft page

turn your bft url address in to a link insted of an address. it will fit in better with out strecting the page wider...

Don't understand what you mean by the addresses don't link up. They worked fine for me. I did shorten the address to my board although it to still worked. As I mentioned the board is still under construction. Good point about providing some details as to where on the Snake the pictures were taken.

I just checked it again, you got rid of the one on the left columb, that was the bad one..

the one you shortened looks a lot better.

what I was saying is that you could say some thing like

BigFishTackle.com

Fly Fishing & Fly Tying

and turn that in to a link to your board... you dont have to show a url address...

just a way of making your board look a little more organized and streem lined.

you should realy have this post on the web master board... I am sure there are others who might be able to drop you a couple of hints as well. If you like just give the word and I will move it over there for you...

It took me a minute to figure out what you meant by the menu board. Now how did you get the phrase "Fly Fishing & Fly Tying" to react as a link? When I copied and paste it, it appears as a full URL.
Feel free to move the post. Perhaps some of our Mods would also like to start a FREE web site as advertised on the BFT site.
If one has ZoneAlarm they will have to turn off the "Mobil Code Control" otherwise they won't be able to manage any pages.

my free web site is the 16 species contest under my frog at the bottom of every post.

first thing you will want to do is check to see what the edit settings are working with.

when you log in at the top of the window where you type you will see several settings you can change.

1. is the edit mode. you have the choice of design or HTML.
2. is the tool bar. you have the choice of standard or advanced.

if you are a beginer I strongly you go with the design in the edit mode. if you go with html you realy need to know your codes in order to make every thing work.

in the design mode all you have to do is copy the title on your board and paist it in your web page and it will work for you....

this also works with pictures in the design mode.

as far as tool bars I just use the standard. I know how to use the advanced, I just dont have a use for it with the simple things I am working on my pages.

your site is not looking bad at all... prety good acturaly, you have a natural flow going.

to be honest I was expecting to see you holding a cat fish...LOL

You may want to later when you get the chance, the add links under your photon banner you may want to concider changing the phont color. the yello is realy hard to see against the back ground you have selected.
