ATV battery
Can anyone give me some advice on where they buy their ATV batteries? I Called O'Rileys and Auto Zone yesterday and they ranged in price fron $50 to $110. That seemed pretty high to me for a little ATV battery, so I checked on line and found one for $35. The only difference was that mine says ATX14-BS and the one I found on Ebay says YTX14-BS, anyone know what the difference is?

For all practical purposes, the ATX and the YTX are virtually identical batteries.

The significant difference is that the YTX is foreign made whereas the ATX is manufactured specificly for AC Delco.

The minor difference is that the ATX has only 160 CCA or Cold Cranking Amps and the YTX has 200 CCA. Both are rated for 12ah or Amp Hours.

Best benefit on the difference: Price. Many items cost less to manufacture and ship to the US than it costs to simply make the product here. Cool
